Commercial - West Town Eatery Installs PV and Solar Hot Water System
6.2kW PV System and Solar Thermal System: West Town Eatery, Winston-Salem, NC July 2008.
Argand recently completed this 6.2 kW system featuring 28 SunPower 215 modules and SunPower inverters. The solar thermal system uses three Apricus AP 30 collectors and a 115 gallon storage tank. Restaurant owner, Peter Strates commented, "We are always thinking of our customers and our future, we are trying to take a step towards energy independence. I want my daughter to have the same opportunities as I did. If we can reduce our energy costs we can offer our customers a great quality, affordable meal even as energy prices rise."
